01Content strategy / Web production

A conference website built around the experience

I designed and developed the annual Economic & Real Estate Forecast Symposium website, bringing ticketing, speakers, sessions, sponsors, news/media and past programs into one comprehensive resource.

The thinking & the build

The need

An annual conference needs a clear home for current information and a way to keep earlier programs useful.

My contribution

I handled content strategy and technical execution, building dynamic database-driven pages, speaker profiles, session filtering, sponsor displays, and a multiyear archive. I also implemented custom conversion events using Google Tag Manager, a Meta Pixel, and a LinkedIn Insight Tag to track and measure campaign outcomes.

What it makes possible

Visitors can explore the program and speakers, while the archive preserves content beyond a single event cycle. Conversion measurement and website analytics allow for optimization of communications strategy across owned, earned and paid media.

02Communications leadership / Brand

Bringing a brand and its website forward together

I led NOMAR’s website migration and redesign alongside an organization-wide rebrand, coordinating the people, content, and decisions behind the change.

The thinking & the build

The need

A new website and brand identity touch more than a homepage. They have to work across departments, member resources, and everyday communications.

My contribution

I coordinated vendors, staff, committees, and end users throughout the initial migration and redesign, and maintained a consistent identity across digital and print materials. The site was initially deployed with 30 pages in September 2023; since then I have roughly doubled the content, building it out to more than 60 pages and introducing a blog, dynamic news and event feeds, and other interactive elements.

What it brings together

A central home for membership information, education, events, and association resources, supported by a consistent brand.

From a list of services to a personalized receipt
03Member communications / Interactive tools

Making membership value personal

I built an interactive calculator that translates membership resources and services into an estimated annual value and a personalized, downloadable receipt.

The thinking & the build

The need

A list of benefits can be hard to connect to an individual member’s experience. An interactive resource gives people a way to explore the services they use.

My contribution

I translated the membership value story into a working web tool, combining benefit selection, an estimated value, and a receipt members can save.

Recognition & impact

Selected for presentation at the 2026 NAR Communications Directors conference.

Served as a model for multiple associations, including Louisiana REALTORS® at the state level, which implemented its own version focused on the value of advocacy.

04Information access / Web development

A directory people can find their way through

I built a searchable WordPress affiliate directory with updates managed through Google Sheets, making both discovery and maintenance part of the design.

The thinking & the build

The need

A member directory has two audiences: the people looking for a service or partner and the staff keeping the information current. The legacy directory consisted of manual static tables, organized by category. It could only be updated by one staff member with specialized knowledge, on a schedule that did not keep pace with member churn.

My contribution

I built and refined search, filters, navigation, and styling through hands-on testing, with an update process connected to Google Sheets.

What it makes possible

Visitors can search by company, contact, city, or keyword and narrow results by region and category.

Behind the scenes

Information systems that support the headlines.

Member engagement dashboard

A React dashboard for tracking engagement, supported by attendance analysis, record matching, deduplication, and audience segmentation.

The thinking & the build

The need

Participation was tracked in multiple places: event records in the member database, spreadsheets, committee meeting minutes, with no way to see or compare full participation histories. Leadership needed engagement data for recruitment decisions but had no consolidated view.

My contribution

I built a React dashboard fed by cleaned and deduplicated attendance data, compiled committee participation, awards history, scholarship history, and professional credentials. The pipeline matches records across events and resolves name variants, and each member has an exportable engagement profile. I used the compiled data to develop a scoring model that quantifies engagement with the organization, and developed a companion dashboard view that provides an operational history of committee meetings, classes and events.

What it makes possible

Staff can look up any member's attendance history, and leadership can identify engagement patterns across the full membership to inform targeted retention strategies, leadership outreach and programming decisions.

Board resource hub

A SharePoint site that brings governance documents, meeting materials, committee resources, and institutional information together for volunteer leaders.

The thinking & the build

The need

Board and committee volunteers received governance documents, meeting materials, calendar reminders and reference information through email attachments and shared drives with no consistent organization. New board members had no single place to get oriented.

My contribution

I built a single SharePoint site around a shared calendar, document library, and reporting dashboards, with the most commonly needed resources surfaced through cards and highlights.

What it makes possible

Board members can find what they need easily, view a central Board calendar, and onboarding new volunteers takes less time because the institutional context is in one place.

CID award winners database

A searchable archive of 577 commercial real estate achievement and honor awards across eight years, brought together from scattered spreadsheets and maintained through Google Sheets.

The thinking & the build

The need

Eight years of commercial real estate award winners lived in separate spreadsheets with inconsistent formatting. When a member or brokerage asked for their award history, staff had to search multiple files manually.

My contribution

I consolidated 577 records into a single searchable database maintained through Google Sheets, with filters for name, company, and award type, plus CSV export for sharing.

What it makes possible

Members and brokerages can look up award histories instantly, and staff can pull reports without manual searching across files.

Project and knowledge management

Updatable planning workbooks for the annual CID Awards program and the Economic and Real Estate Forecast Symposium, with automatically calculated milestone dates.

The thinking & the build

The need

Planning for two major annual events depended on institutional memory held by individual staff and committee members. Key dates, vendor contacts, contract terms, and lessons learned were scattered across inboxes, meeting minutes, and personal notes.

My contribution

I built planning workbooks from those scattered sources, consolidating meeting minutes, contracts, emails, and institutional knowledge into structured, updatable references. The workbooks automatically calculate recurring milestone dates from each event's anchor date, with additional tabs documenting expenses and revenue, sponsorship campaign, ticket sales, program information, and a year-over-year at-a-glance comparison.

What it makes possible

Event planning follows a repeatable process that does not depend on any single person's memory. Each cycle's decisions become part of the knowledge base for the next.

02 / About me

A librarian’s
instinct.
A communicator’s
perspective.

I help people find, understand, and use information.

I spent years in public libraries before moving into communications and marketing. The curiosity that led me to librarianship is still at the heart of how I work, a process of collaborative discovery. Most of my projects start the same way: someone describes what they want, or just as often raises a pain point, and I help them figure out what they need.

Today, I’m the Director of Communications and Commercial Services at the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®. My work spans integrated campaigns, editorial planning, event marketing, website development, brand management, member and stakeholder communications, project and knowledge management, and budget development and tracking.

I care as much about how a directory gets updated as how it looks, because information nobody can maintain is information that decays.

How I work

Find the thread.

I start by mapping what exists: who needs the information, where does it live now, and what’s getting lost. That usually entails research, auditing content, talking to stakeholders, and building a structure.

Make it clear.

I foreground value to the end-user from the beginning, then build outward: core message to full asset suite, across email, social, web, and print. I set up conversion tracking and analytics so the strategy can be evaluated and adjusted, not just executed. All of my work involves coordinating across staff, vendors, sponsors, volunteer committees and governing boards, so stakeholder collaboration is baked into the editorial process.

Build it well.
